GGE has placed the largest CPV industry order to date for 105 MWs of Emcore's world leading 1,000 sun concentrator cells to support our worldwide SCIG licensees and to build SunCube™ Energy Farms around the world. GGE have increased our CPV 1,000 Sun CPV receiver orders on Emcore to 215 MWs or 6.2 million 1,000 Sun CPV receivers in total.

Emcore provides the world's first 20 year CPV receiver warranty for the GGE SunCube.

SunCubes™ will be available to domestic, commercial and industrial customers worldwide, for both on and off grid use.
We will be doing this through country and state based distributors.
Final pricing and timing is still to be confirmed.
GGE will not be selling SunCubes™ direct to the public. We will however continue to build solar farms.
We can assure you the resultant SunCube $ / kWh cost will be below that which flat panels can deliver.
SunCube™ retail warranty will be equivalent to that available for flat panels.

SunCubes™ in solar farms?

We plan to offer you two option to buy SunCube™ generated solar kWhs:
- Buy SunCube™ generated solar kWhs from our SunCube™ solar farms. This will enable you to buy "Green Electricity" without needing to finance the purchase of SunCubes™.
- Buy SunCube™/s in our solar farms and receive a financial return with you could decide to offset against your electricity bill.
GGE intends to sell a limited number (approx 25%) of the SunCube™s in our SunCube™ solar parks to the general public:
- Your SunCube™/s generated kWhs would create an annual income stream that you can offset as against your electricity bills.
- The effect on lowering your electricity bill would be the same as if your SunCube™/s were on your roof.
- Imagine your own solar power without it needing to be on your roof.
- If you move premises, your SunCube™ effectively moves with you at NO cost.
This means owning your own SunCube™/s is no longer limited to just home owners:
- Under our scheme those who:
  - Own their home but do not wish to install SunCubes on their roof or property
  - Rent
  - Live in apartments
  - Live under a restricted strata title arrangement
  - Live in community housing
  - Caravans
  - Can't afford the high capital cost of solar
  - Wish to gift SunCubes™ to others to help to reduce their electricity bills
  - etc,
  Can still enjoy the benefits of owning their own SunCube™/s even if they start at just one.
GGE plans to sell SunCube™e generated solar kWhs to government, industrial, commercial and domestic electricity customers all across Australia.
GGE also plan sell Carbon Credits to those with carbon debits.

SunCubes™ Output ratings

Flat panels have IEC61215 and other standards to measure output against. CPV now has IEC62108 but the IEC found it too hard to measure CPV output and so dropped it from the standard. This means ALL CPV manufacturers have no agreed standard to measure output. GGE has decided to provide three output measurements for the SunCube™. So until the CPV industry has a output standard, this is how GGE rates the SunCube™.
